Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Developer with a strong background in the mortgage industry to join our dynamic team. As the Lead Developer, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of software solutions that cater specifically to the needs of the mortgage sector. Your expertise in both IT and mortgage industry practices will be crucial in driving innovation, efficiency, and excellence in our technology initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and guidance to a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions for mortgage-related applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of software components.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of mortgage industry processes, regulations, and best practices.
• Analyze and understand business requirements within the mortgage domain, translating them into technical specifications.
• Design scalable and robust software architecture that aligns with the specific needs and challenges of the mortgage industry.
• Ensure the security and compliance of software systems in accordance with industry standards.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and assess their applicability to enhance and optimize mortgage-related systems.
• Evaluate third-party solutions and technologies for potential integration.
• Manage development projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with project managers to define project scopes, goals, and deliverables.
• Work closely with business analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between IT solutions and business objectives.
• Collaborate with external partners and vendors as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Technology, Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering or Business or equivalent experience
• 7 years experience with Java/JEE, Servlet/JSP, Spring/Struts, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/Ajax, XML, Web Services SOAP/REST, Hibernate, EJB
• 6 years of experience or equivalent competency programming in C# and JavaScript
• 6 years of experience in software testing and design
• 6 years of experience in database management as it relates to software development
• 3 years experience at project/technical lead level leading a team of developers[SD1]
• Experience in using software development frameworks and platforms, such as .NET 6 and Angular 12 [SD2]
• 1-2 years of Angular JS experience
• Exceptional proficiency in Oracle databases and PL/SQL
• Extensive knowledge of database systems, API integrations, and cloud technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• High level of professionalism and confidence with the ability to build credibility with leadership, team members, and business partners and establish effective working relationships.
• Ability to problem-solve to produce quality deliverables on time and on budget.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels and explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to multiple layers of peers and leadership.
• Experience with Fraud Technology

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

• 4 years experience at project/technical lead level leading a team of developers
• Experience with mortgage loan origination systems (LOS) and related software.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing the mortgage industry.
